Mark Rosenman

Mark Rosenman is a longtime New York sports radio personality, published author, and writer. Rosenman's radio career began in 1980 on WGLI "The Mighty" 1290 AM. After a 25-year hiatus, during which he coached a travel baseball team that included Arizona Diamondbacks first-round draft pick Mike Belfiore, he returned to the airwaves in 2007 as the host of SPORTSTALKNY.

 

Over the course of 17 years, SPORTSTALKNY aired every Sunday night on WLIE 540 AM featuring interviews with current and former players, broadcasters, and other sports media personalities.

 

Rosenman covers both the NHL and the New York Mets, and his expertise has earned him numerous appearances on ESPN, NHL Network, CBS with Steve Overmyer, FOX with Tina Cervasio on Sports Xtra, and radio on WFAN.

Rosenman founded KinersKorner.com, a website dedicated to covering all things New York Mets, continuing his passion for connecting fans with the game and its stories.

Mark Rosenman has co-authored eight books with Howie Karpin. In 2015, he released Shoot to Thrill: The History of Hockey's Shootout. His second book, Down on the Korner: Ralph Kiner and Kiner's Korner, was published in 2016. In January 2018, Rosenman released New York Rangers by the Numbers: A Complete Team History of the Broadway Blueshirts by Uniform Number.

In 2019, Rosenman published two books: Before '94: The Story of the 1979 New York Rangers, co-authored with Howie Karpin, and Glove Story: Fathers and Sons and the National Pastime, co-written with his longtime SPORTSTALKNY co-host AJ Carter.

 

Rosenman and Karpin continued their collaboration with four titles in The Never Forget Your First series, which culminated in the release of the Yankee Edition in 2023. Most recently, Mark published his first solo effort, The Forgotten Miracle: The Story of the 1973 New York Mets.

 

This past summer, Rosenman coached the U16 Sid Jacobson Hammer Baseball team to a gold medal at the 2024 Maccabi Games in Houston.
